The Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni

This empowerment is an opportunity to make a special connection with Buddha Shakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism. By receiving his blessings, we can awaken our inner good qualities of compassion and wisdom. Through relying upon him we can discover how to solve our problems and find deep inner peace. Eventually, we shall discover the bliss of lasting freedom and happiness, full enlightenment.

During this celebration we will also have the opportunity to receive teachings and commentary from Kadam Bridget Heyes on the 'Liberating Prayer- Praise to Buddha Shakyamuni'. Through accessing the profound meaning of this prayer we can draw closer to Buddha Shakyamuni, our supreme unchanging friend, the source of peace and goodness.

Teachers

Inspired by the renowned Buddhist master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the founder of the New Kadampa Tradition, this is a modern presentation of Buddhism that has unbroken lineage all the way back to Buddha Shakyamuni himself.

The celebration will be taught by the National Spiritual Director Kadam Bridget Heyes, a dedicated disciple of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, and a much loved teacher who reveals the essence of Buddha's teachings in a practical and inspiring way.

This annual Dharma Celebration is a special opportunity to enjoy spiritual teachings, guided meditations and to spend time with Sangha and friends.

Wedi ei ysbrydoli gan y meistr Bwdhaidd adnabyddus Yr Hybarch Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, sylfaenydd Y Traddodiad Kadampa Newydd, dyma gyflwyniad modern i Fwdhaeth sydd a llinach di-dor yn ymestyn yr holl ffordd 'nol at Bwdha Shakyamuni ei hun. Bydd y dathliad yn cael ei ddysgu gan y Cyfarwyddydd Ysbrydol Cenedlaethol Kadam Bridget Heyes.

Mae hi'n ddisgybl ymroddedig i Geshe Kelsang Gyatso ac yn athrawes hoff sydd yn datguddio hanfod dysgeidiaethau Bwdha mewn modd ymarferol ac ysbrydoledig.
